How do I get started?

Dr. Rebecca Gras is in network with Carefirst/BCBS and Johns Hopkins EHP Health Insurance.
All Psychological Associates are in network with Carefirst/BCBS
Out of Network: if you have a different insurance plan and it offers out-of-network benefits, you should receive some reimbursement for the cost of my services. Reimbursement may cover up to 80% of the cost per session. I would be happy to provide the necessary documentation for you to receive reimbursement for my services. I recommend that you contact your insurance provider and inquire about your “out-of-network” benefits.
Individual Intake Session/ First session: $200
Individual Session: $175 per 55 min
Consultation Services: $225 per 55 min
Forms of Accepted Payment: HSA, Credit, Debit, Checks, and Cash.
Payments to be made at the time of service. A no-show fee will be charged when cancelations are made with less than 24 hours notice.
What can I expect in our first session?
During our first session together we will likely ask you to share more about your reason for entering into therapy at this time. Additionally, we will ask you what you are hoping will change through therapy. We will gather some background information regarding your current situation or set of challenges and your experiences in your childhood and family of origin. We may also discuss past experiences that you have had in treatment.
You will be given a form that outlines my policies and the opportunity to ask any question that you may have about these policies.
Confidentiality:
Is what we talk about in therapy confidential?
We have a legal and ethical obligation to keep the information you share with me confidential, which means that we do not share your information or what we talk about in session with anyone else.
There are only a few exceptions to this rule:
- When there is a serious threat to your health and safety or to the health and safety of another person. In the event that this occurs, we will only share information with persons who are able to help prevent or reduce the threat.
- When we are required to do so by court order.
- When there is reasonable suspicion of child abuse or neglect, or the abuse or neglect of a vulnerable adult.
- With your expressed consent only, we may release certain pieces of information- like your name and treatment plan- for purposes of diagnosis, coordination of care, referral, and payment.
Office location and accessibility
- Sessions are currently held on a video platform that is HIPAA secure and private.
- Office is located in a warm office setting on a beautiful tree lined street in Roland Park., Baltimore
- There is free parking available in the lot directly in front of the building.
- Office is only accessible via stairs/walk-up, unfortunately there is no elevator access at this time.
